RHOSLC: Everything You Need to Know About Monica and Heather’s Legal Drama

RHOSLC star Heather Gay's opinion on new co-star Monica Garcia has changed drastically.

Every bit of tea that you NEED TO KNOW about the legal drama between RHOSLC stars Monica Garcia and Heather Gay.

It’s no secret that RHOSLC co-stars Monica Garcia and Heather Gay are suing each other, but now the plot has thickened in a major way. Plus, there’s some pipping hot tea about the RHOSLC newbie that must be discussed.

Let’s take a stroll back to September, when season 4 of RHOSLC first premiered on Bravo. In the premiere episode of season 4, RHOSLC fans saw Heather Gay learn some shocking news during the cast trip to Bermuda. The news Heather has received is so surprising that she pushes the Bravo cameras out of her room as she attempts to wrap her head around what she’s just learned.

It turns out that the bit of news Heather Gay received was about Monica Garcia and the lawsuit.

The lawsuit between Heather’s Beauty Lab + Laser company and Monica stems from services in December 2019.

In August, Heather Gay’s company, Beauty Lab + Laser, filed a lawsuit against RHOSLC newbie Monica Garcia for “breach of contract and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing.”

Monica fired back with a countersuit for alleged “botched” procedures on her nose and lips.

.However, Heather didn’t file the lawsuit against Monica until August 2023. Why might you ask? Well, it turns out Heather didn’t know that the Monica that Beauty Lab + Laser was going after for unpaid services was the same Monica who joined the season 4 cast of RHOSLC until May 2023 during the cast trip to Bermuda.

RHOSLC’s Heather Gay & Monica Garcia are suing each other!

During the season 4 cast trip to Bermuda, Heather learned that Monica Garcia was the same Monica who had an open tab with Beauty Lab + Laser.

According to the Twitter account @RealityTVHotTea, Beauty Lab + Laser didn’t know that the Monica in question was Monica Garcia because she used a different last name.

For her services with Beauty Lab + Laser, the RHOSLC newbie used the name Monica Fowler, not Monica Garcia.

Amid the lawsuit, the RHOSLC cast has rallied around Heather.

Meanwhile, some juicy gossip about Monica from Deux Moi is going around social media. Monica allegedly stole the $60k ring Lisa Barlow lost in the airport on the way to Palm Springs.

An unidentified source wrote:

“The lies, the lies, the lies are flying around Salt Lake City from this broke snowflake who allegedly mysteriously got a lot of money after the main snowflake lost her 60k uninsured piece! Want more tea! Allegedly ALL the snowflakes are sure that the broke snowflake stole the piece, one of the many reasons why no one wants her on the show anymore! But the broek snowflake will probably blame her mom.”

Naturally, RHOSLC fans have much to say about all of this.

“I am telling you, there is something not right there – has not been from the beginning,” podcast host Kate Casey commented.

“The woman openly admitted to sleeping with her married brother-in-law. People tell you who they are,” one fan wrote.

“Monica studied at the school of Jen Shah,” a second fan quipped.

“And now the mother’s name change comment makes sense,” a third fan commented.

“Monica pulling grifting stunts. Jen Shah 2.0,” another fan wrote.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 4 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Put aside the ring accusation, Monica still knew she had left Heather business with unpaid charges in a grifters way (leaving a credit card that had a limited cap so the business could not recap the charges) and then claimed “unsatisfactory service.” In fact, when Heather’s business sued for charges unpaid, Monica counter sued and asked for $50,000 in damages, a large amount for a small businesses insurance and showed Monica has probably done these types of suits many times before. Note, the most psycho point is Monica did all this knowing who Heather was and did not say a word during those first months of taping, and then she turns around and files a lawsuit against Angie for falling down her stairs at the Easter Party. I think Bravo hired a seasoned grifter in Monica, someone that can’t afford a car in their name, which Bravo had no business bringing on to the cast. Especially since she was already suing a current cast member! Do better Bravo! If I was Angie, I would be calling Andy Cohen and demanding Bravo pick up every legal fee of Monica’s lawsuit before they have another Vanity Fair article and scandal on their hands. Bravo could have brought Monica on as a friend, but she never should have been cast as a full time HW while she was suing a cast member.

Wow, that's a huge accusation. Not a Monica fan but to accuse her of stealing that ring is serious. Hope they have evidence that this is true and not just vicious gossip.
