Last week, AllAboutTRH revealed that the cast trip for the Real Housewives of New Jersey had been cancelled. And now Andy Cohen is elaborating on what really happened.

Danny Pellegrino recently appeared on  SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live when he asked Andy Cohen what really happened with RHONJ’s trip to the Berkshires and Andy didn’t hold back.

Danny Pellegrino: When are we filming at Blue Stone Manor again? Like another girl’s trip or something.
Andy Cohen: Well, you know-
Danny Pellegrino: Lock everybody in that house, Andy. Magic.
AC: The Jersey women were supposed to go. They were going in the area of the Berkshires on their trip and-
Danny Pellegrino: So, they were gonna film at Dorinda’s house.

AC: They were gonna film at Dorinda’s house. I’m just saying this and the place that they were staying burned down, so the trip got, I mean, literally like the day before they were leaving to go.
Danny Pellegrino: So, they couldn’t shift over to Dorinda’s house.
AC No, we weren’t gonna have them stay at Dorinda’s house because that’s just a different show basically. I mean, that’s-


Danny Pellegrino: Oh my god, to see Teresa in Dorinda house would’ve blown my mind.
AC: I know. I know.
Danny Pellegrino: So, it wasn’t like anything to do with the season being, because I saw a report about Jersey saying that the trip was canceled because it was boring, but there was a fire.


AC: No, it was canceled because the house burned down. The house literally burned down.
Danny Pellegrino: That must annoy you when you see those kinds of things.
AC: I didn’t see that, but listen, there’s no end to annoying things. There’s no end to annoying lies and mistruths or half-truths or just made-up shit that’s out there, but I just keep walking one foot ahead. Keep on keeping on.

We did report on AllAboutTRH patreon that the house the ladies were supposed to stay at at did burn down and the cast trip was cancelled. We can also report that the ladies will now just have a final dinner for the finale.

Ok, so the one place they were going to stay was not available. This is the down season for resorts. I was just at a big resort, 75% empty right now in off season. They could not find any other place at a resort, to film for 3 days??? How about going to a resort they have previously filmed at since it would already be approved for filming like the one in St. Barts, or where the ladies went in Miami? How about calling Mauricio and asking if he has a home they can use for filming. If the ladies cleared 3 days, find a location and go. I just don’t get why this is no. Push it back one or two weeks. The cast trip is always a highlight of a season. This is just bizarre, no will for a back up plan? Even with Melissa and Teresa not speaking they can film in different friend groups and then bring them all together for the big dinner, how hard is this?

The real question is "when did they cancel the trip"! The house (not resort) fire in that area that was likely the type of place they'd rent was on Oct. 20. There was another one that day that was in a small house, which by the way there is a "go fund me" for the owner. They were supposed to go Oct. 21 and according to Andy, the house caught on fire the day before and so did the rental I found. Regardless, renting a big house for 3 days a few states away isn't much of a big deal and is way cheaper than hotel or resort rooms and travel farther away, let alone to another country. So it isn't like they were willing to invest much with NJ and it is easy to understand why!

I think God burned that house down so as not to test the limits of Tre’s commitment to no drama with Melissa this season! I hope they had good insurance lol. Can’t wait to see a season of Jersey with no Gorga drama!

TreApe probably burned the house down. I wouldn't put it past her. Arson is possibly less than bank fraud, mortgage fraud, etc.

Imo, trashing trashy people on trashy TV (on a blog like this and not to them on their Instagram or whatever) is not a big deal where personally trashing a fellow commenter for their opinion about trashy people on trashy TV is pitiful.

Obviously Italia is joking around with some truth because of what and who Teresa is (a trashy felon). Yet you call someone a "very evil person" which shows some hatred in defense of a nobody you don't even know(!) who doesn't know or care that you are defending them. Just an observation.

Well no doubt she is glad it was canceled and not the only one. Teresa and Aydin would have totally ruined it even if Teresa stayed in the room pouting for 3 days. I bet it was a big relief for most of them except for the new ones. Instead of 3 days stuck with each other, it is only a dinner now!

She hates HAVING to keep the job and is probably bitter because her prince charming expects her to work and isn't just taking care of her and the daughters like he probably made her believe. Ha.
