Jax Taylor Slams Tom Sandoval For Announcing Podcast on the Heels of Ariana Madix’s DWTS Debut

Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval argue at Pump Rules reunion

Jax Taylor is calling out Tom Sandoval for attempting to steal the spotlight from Ariana Madix amid her Dancing With the Stars debut.

The Vanderpump Rules OG criticized his former best friend and co-star, Tom Sandoval, for announcing his new podcast, Everybody Loves Tom, the day after his ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix, shimmied on the ballroom dance floor.

“I’m happy for him, but I don’t think he should have launched it the day after Ariana’s ‘Dancing With the Stars,’” Jax Taylor told Page Six on Thursday, September 28.

“I think that was bad PR and the fact that he is trying to redeem himself and make himself a better person — whoever told him to announce this the day after … not a good move,” he continued.

Jax Taylor then admitted that he thought Tom was attempting to steal Ariana’s thunder yet again.

“I don’t understand why he couldn’t have announced it maybe a week later,” the 44-year-old noted, adding that Tom was unsuccessful with his attempt to overshadow Ariana’s first performance on DWTS.

“I think she killed it. She did amazing, and I am so happy for her,” he said. “She is such an amazing person.”

Despite his criticism, the Bravoleb believes a podcast will be a wonderful “outlet” for Tom.

The House of Villians star also revealed that he recently sat down with Tom and offered him some encouragement amid all the drama in his life over the past several months, including his affair with Raquel Leviss.

“I said, ‘Hey, listen, I don’t agree with what you did to Tom Schwartz. I don’t agree with how you handled your bar situation,’ but other than that, as far as the cheating thing goes, I’ve done that. So I don’t really have a leg to stand on,” Jax admitted. “But I said, ‘Listen, I don’t know what you’re going through mentally. I can only imagine the whole world hating you.’ So I just gave him a hug and said, ‘If you need me, I’m down the street.’”

As AllAboutTRH reported last week, Tom announced his new podcast on Wednesday, September 27, via social media.

riding the coattails of Rachael... you mentally beat her to the ground, humiliated her on national tv... you and Arianna used her. Shame.

Jax needs to get with the program. No doubt both Ariana and Tom planned this double debut together. It helps to further their VPRules story line.
