New information about the hours leading up to Shannon Beador’s arrest for DUI and hit-and-run has emerged – Get all the details!
Bravo star Shannon Beador was allegedly extremely boozed up before crashing her car over the weekend.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star was arrested for DUI and a hit-and-run on Saturday night in Newport Beach, California, after she drove her car into a residential property and “clipped the house.”
Shannon Beador then proceeded to turn her back onto the road and kept going before parking her car in the middle of the street and getting out with her dog, Archie.
Now, we are learning that earlier that night Shannon Beador was at a nearby bar – tipsy and complaining about former Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino, who was also at the establishment.
TMZ reports that on Saturday night, Shannon was at Newport Beach hotspot “A Restaurant” with her friend and business partner, Steve Muller. The bar is about half a mile from where Shannon crashed her car later that night.
According to eyewitnesses, Shannon spent the night hanging by the bar and appeared tipsy. One witness said Shannon “was loud and boisterous through the night, with her arms flailing in the air.”
The RHOC star even took photos with Bravo fans.
Shannon was also overheard complaining about former RHOC star Alexis Bellino, who was also at the bar. Shannon was reportedly “bitching” about Alexis to anyone who would listen.
The 59-year-old has no real history with Alexis however she was involved in a nasty lawsuit with Alexis’ ex-husband, Jim Bellino.
In 2018, Jim infamously filed a million-dollar defamation lawsuit against Shannon and co-star/friend Tamra Judge after they commented about his business and divorce from Alexis while appearing on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast.
A judge dismissed all charges against Shannon in 2019 and demanded Jim pay Shannon’s attorney fees which amounted to $137,340.25.
Tamra later settled her lawsuit with Jim in February 2022. The details of the settlement remain confidential.
Following Shannon’s arrest for DUI and hit-and-run on Saturday, TMZ reached out to Alexis for a comment and she happily obliged.
Alexis said:
“When my girlfriends and I arrived for a fun night out together, it was soon brought to my attention that Shannon was also at the same restaurant. Shannon and I did not interact that night, but it greatly saddens me to learn that she may harbor negative feelings or resentment toward me, as I was not involved in Jim Bellino’s lawsuit against Shannon. From one single mother to another, I wish Shannon nothing but the best as I know she is facing trying times ahead.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
