Carole Radzwill slammed former BFF and RHONY co-star Bethenny Frankel in a comment on social media this week.
Once upon a time, former Real Housewives of New York stars Carole Radziwill and Bethenny Frankel were the best of friends, that is, until their friendship turned sour right in front of our eyes during season 10.
Since then, the two haven’t had a pleasant word to say about the other. Even all these years later, the two can’t seem to stop taking digs at each other every chance they get.
Earlier this week, a Real Housewives fan page called Housewife Haikus shared a post about Bethenny Frankel’s battle against Bravo and NBC Universal over unfair treatment and inadequate pay.
“Bethenny is smart, no question about it. But would she be who she is without Bravo? I don’t think so. This whole thing is an interesting move, and I’ll be interested to see how it shakes out,” the post from Housewife Haikus read.
The post caught the attention of RHONY alum Carole Radziwill, who decided to toss in her two cents on the matter. In doing so, Carole slammed Bethenny Frankel as “shrewd” and “not very intelligent.”
“Shrewed [sic] perhaps, but she’s actually not very intelligent,” Carole chimed in.
Of course, Carole’s spelling mistake caused a frenzy on the post, forcing the former journalist to clap back and double down on her claims about Bethenny Frankel.
“Here’s the thing: people in this country equate accumulation of wealth with intelligence even in the face of a mountain of evidence to the contrary,” Carole commented.
She added, “Money does not equal intelligence. So I said what I said.”
The Real Housewives of New York airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
