Kroy Biermann is shutting down claims that his estranged wife Kim Zolciak has been “locked out” of their online store, The Biermanns’ Closet.
“Biermanns’ Closet is a family business; Kim designated the items to be sold, and Kroy biermann insured [sic] that items were listed on the site and delivered to the customer,” the former NFL star’s attorney told Us Weekly on Friday.
“Until recently, there had been little activity on the site,” the attorney went on. “However, since the divorce, there has been some traffic, and some items have been sold.”
According to Kroy Biermann‘s attorney, Kim approved the sale of all of the items, including several of her beloved wigs.
“These are wigs that Kim designated and approved were to be sold on the site,” the lawyer said. “Kroy was just doing what he had always done.”
The 37-year-old’s attorney adds that he has “managed the actual logistics of the site and ensured that all items purchased were recorded, processed, and shipped.”
Kroy’s lawyer also explained that his client “built the website, set up Shopify, set up affiliate marketing for the site with tracking links, took and posted pictures, wrote product descriptions, [and] received, fulfilled, processed and shipped orders.”
This statement from Kroy Biermann’s attorney comes after Kim told her fans not to purchase anything from Biermann’s Closet last Wednesday.
On her Instagram Stories, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum told fans:
“Please do not purchase from Biermann’s Closet at this time until further notice. Thank you. I will be setting up a new website for all things Kim and kids.”
A source close to Kim then told Page Six that “Kim has no access” to Biermann’s closet “and is locked out,” by Kroy Biermann. “So she wants to start a new shop with complete autonomy.”
Kim and Kroy Biermann were married for 11 years before calling it quits in May 2023 over their much-reported financial woes.
The two owe nearly $1.2 million in unpaid federal and state taxes. Both are seeking sole legal and physical custody of their minor children. Kroy has claimed that Kim’s gambling addiction has “financially devasted” their family.RHOA airs on Sundays at 8 pm on Bravo.
