Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow has announced on Instagram that her youngest child, 12, has come out as transgender.
Heather shared on Instagram Saturday morning the news in honor of international sons day.
Posting a photo at the beach with name Ace written in the sand, Heather wrote,
“It’s International sons day! We love you, our youngest son, Ace ??Our job as parents is to give our kids a safe and supportive environment so they can grow up as healthy, happy, confident, independent humans. Since Ace is a 12 year old child, with a long life ahead of him – we will let him tell his own story someday if he chooses to do so. All we can say is Ace, we love you so much and we are proud to be your parents. Your brother and sisters love and support you too ??”

Heather’s husband, Terry Dubrow, commented on the post thanking people for spreading the love.
Heather and Terry have four children. Heather’s daughter Kat, 16, came out as Lesbian last year while their daughter Max,18, came out as Bisexual the year before.
Speaking to People last year, Heather said, “We’ve got four kids, they are different genders, different sexualities, and all at interesting places in their lives, figuring out who they are and where they belong as humans. I felt like our purpose is to keep those conversations going in other families.”
Heather also got support from co-star Gina Kirschenheiter who wrote, “Love you and your whole family! Your #momgoals always have been and continue to be!!” while former housewives Alexis Bellino & Gretchen Rossi commented, “We love you Ace!!!!!”
