According to Teresa, the girls have appeared on the show since its inception. As for speaking out against their aunt and uncle, Teresa says [Joe and Melissa](https://allabouttrh.com/2023/02/15/allabouttrh-exclusive-the-seating-chart-from-teresa-giudice-and-louie-ruelas-engagement-party-revealed-as-teresa-shares-who-was-behind-melissa-and-joes-seats-being-changed-at-the-last-minute-plu/) opened the door when they perpetuated lies about them on Melissa's *On Display *podcast. ***“The girls are on the show because they’ve been on there since they were [young]. They did so by agreeing to film with Joe Giudice for the RHONJ special, *Teresa Checks In*, which allowed the Giudice family to sustain their lifestyle. However, Teresa disagrees. ***“If anything, we put food on their table … Let’s get that straight,”*** Teresa declared, adding that Joe and Melissa filmed for the special to be on camera and get a check, not because they were*** “doing a favor or doing something nice.”*** ***“My brother came to see me one time, and guess why? The cameras were rolling. He got paid for it. I’m getting the chills out of saying that because that’s heart-wrenching. He came to see me one time,"*** Teresa revealed. ***“The past 10 years, it’s been heartbreak after heartbreak after heartbreak, and [I’m done](https://allabouttrh.com/2023/01/19/teresa-giudice-reveals-why-shes-done-with-joe-and-melissa-gorga-for-good/),” ***she added. ``` [View this post on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CpS0OmzOyNj/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading)[A post shared by AllAboutTRH Entertainment Website (@allabouttrh)](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CpS0OmzOyNj/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading) ``` When it comes to her brother's surprise reunion with her ex-husband in the Bahamas, Teresa called the whole thing comical, insisting that the Joes weren't even together more than five minutes. ***“I had told my ex I heard they were there because my girlfriend was on the same plane. So I warned my ex. I’m like, ‘You’re probably gonna see them.’ If you go to Bahamas, [and you] go to Baha Mar, Joe, Juicy Joe is there. He’s there. That’s his hangout spot,”*** the Bravoleb revealed before noting that her ex-husband had no idea he was being filmed. ***“He didn’t know he was being videoed. He told me, ‘Teresa, we saw each other for two minutes, then someone else walked in, and then they scattered.’ Because it was the girl that was on the plane with them, and Melissa didn’t want to see her,”*** she explained. ``` [View this post on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/reel/Co3iaC9LKDb/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading)[A post shared by AllAboutTRH Entertainment Website (@allabouttrh)](https://www.instagram.com/reel/Co3iaC9LKDb/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading) ``` Speaking of the video, Teresa says she has no idea why her brother posted the reunion on Instagram, quipping, ***"Ask my brother."*** ***“I think he told somebody that he got 10 million views on it. Oh, okay, so opportunist. You first talk about him and say nasty things about him, but then you post a video with him? It doesn’t make sense,”*** she confessed. Teresa also makes it clear that she agrees with Gia's take on the situation, saying, ***“It was [opportunistic].”*** ***“All you have done is talked so poorly about my father. You are such an opportunist to take advantage of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see my father and use it for a post,”*** Gia wrote on her uncle's post. ``` [View this post on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/Co3ki6Fs1tM/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading)[A post shared by AllAboutTRH Entertainment Website (@allabouttrh)](https://www.instagram.com/p/Co3ki6Fs1tM/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading) ``` *The Real Housewives of New Jersey* airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm on Bravo. ## Thoughts on this all? Sound off below! Why do Teresa Giudice's daughters appear on The Real Housewives of New Jersey? Teresa’s daughters have been appearing on the show since they were young. Gia started at the age of 7, Milania at 3, Gabriella at 4, and Audriana was even born on the show. Their presence on the show is not a recent development. Why did Teresa's daughters speak out against their aunt and uncle on the show?  Teresa’s daughters spoke out against their aunt and uncle because Joe and Melissa Gorga perpetuated lies about them on Melissa’s On Display podcast. Teresa believes that Joe and Melissa opened the door for her daughters to address the situation by spreading false information. Did Joe and Melissa Gorga financially support Teresa's daughters while she was in prison? Joe and Melissa claim that they “put food on the table” for the Giudice girls during Teresa’s time in prison by agreeing to film with Joe Giudice for the RHONJ special, Teresa Checks In. However, Teresa disagrees and asserts that they actually provided financial support to Joe and Melissa. She believes that Joe and Melissa filmed for the special to be on camera and receive payment, not out of genuine concern or support.
