Southern Charm‘s Kathryn Dennis has reportedly been demoted after eight seasons on the show.
According to a report from Deadline on Tuesday, Kathryn will be “a guest star” on Season 9 instead of a full-time cast member.
This comes after rumors swirled that Kathryn’s contract was not renewed by Bravo for season 9.
On Monday, The U.S. Sun reported that Bravo was “sick of” Kathryn’s constant “no-shows” and her behavior toward production staff on the show.
“She doesn’t show up on time or show up at all during filming a lot,” the insider alleged.
“She treats people like they are beneath her,” the source further claimed. “She can’t stand anyone doing better or getting more attention than her.”
The source then alleged that Bravo even brought on a special producer to “handle” Kathryn’s behavior.
“I know she’s had money issues, and now I don’t know how she’s going to work. She’s never had a job,” the insider said. “I’m worried for her, but maybe this is a wake-up call.”
Bravo has yet to comment or announce any casting decisions for season 9 of Southern Charm.
