The middle daughter of *Real Housewives of Atlanta* alum Kim Zolciak turned 21 on Monday. The *Don't Be Tardy* alum was charged with three misdemeanors: *" driving under the influence of alcohol, improper/erratic lane change, and underage possession/purchase of alcohol." * She was later released on a $5,120 bond. Ariana's attorney, as well as her mother, insisted that the then 20-year-old's *“minor fender bender”* had nothing to do with booze or drugs. *“Despite Ariana’s constant invocation that she was upset and anxious from the minor accident, the officer incorrectly concluded she was impaired by alcohol. That was not the case,”* Ariana's lawyer said in a statement. *“She wholly denies these allegations and intends to fight these charges because she is not guilty of them.”* Kim echoed similar sentiments on her Instagram while sharing the statement from Ariana's lawyer. She also noted that Ariana *“admitted to consuming marijuana the day before”* the accident. *“[That was] over 24 hours prior to her contact with law enforcement,”* Kim said, adding that Ariana was *“cooperative and honest”* throughout her brush with the law. Meanwhile, on Ariana's 21st birthday, Kim gushed about her daughter on Instagram. *"Happy 21st Birthday to my sweet @arianabiermann. I can't believe how fast time has flown by!!"* Kim wrote. *"It was me, @briellebiermann, and you, kid, for years! Many highs and lows, but we have the best memories. Look [at] us now. You have always made my job as your Mom so easy. I'm forever grateful you chose ME to be your Mom."* She continued, *"Your generous heart, giving nature, commitment to your family & friends, the love you spread daily, and the passion you have for life (and pastels) never goes unnoticed! Thank you for being YOU!!!! You are such a bright light in this world!
