Buckle up, Bravo fans, because season 7 of the Real Housewives of Potomac is going to be one wild ride.
In the hours after the trailer for season 7 dropped online, several members of the cast reacted to the drama that will play out this season.
Candiace Dillard’s hubby, Chris Bassett, whose faithfulness is questioned during season 7, was the first to speak out.
“Whelp…..I guess after 6 seasons….it’s finally my turn #RHOP,” Chris tweeted, to which Candiace replied, “One thing about it…Misery is going to stick her neck rolls in someone’s marriage.”
Fans quickly called out Chris for allegedly sliding into Ashley Darby’s DMs, as seen in the season 7 trailer.
“But didn’t Ashley say she got a DM from Chris at 2:40 am? That alone should be unacceptable. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire,” a fan tweeted. Chris responded: “Guess you’ll have to watch.”
Meanwhile, Wendy Osefo and Candiace also reacted to the lack of reaction from fans over Mia Thornton tossing a martini in Wendy’s face, as seen in the trailer.
Okay maybe I will stan her this season, that was effortless? #RHOP pic.twitter.com/lDh5RwWVfV

“They’re already saying Wendy deserved a drink thrown at her. The laps people run to defend these light skin women on this show #rhop,” a fan tweeted.
Wendy replied, “I vividly remember the outrage when people falsely assumed I threw a glass. Now, we all see the truth, and magically, the outrage disappears. How convenient. #RHOP.”
The Deep Space singer retweet Wendy’s post and added the comment: “How convenient.” She later tweeted: “I’m also excited to see what (brown paper bag) acrobatics are used to defend certain deplorable behaviors by certain sects of the viewership.”
Season 7 of RHOP premieres Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
