Setting the record straight!
Louie Ruelas shuts down claims that his wife Teresa Giudice billed her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga after they skipped out on their August 6 wedding.
“We would never in a million years ask for money from Joe and Melissa – we are not petty. Joe and Melissa were missed,” Louie commented on AllAboutTRH‘s Instagram page.
Louie’s comment comes after Radar Online reported that Teresa didn’t appreciate Joe and Melissa Gorga skipping her wedding, so she sent them a bill!
“Joe and Melissa had both RSVPed ‘Yes.’ They had both selected what they were going to eat but then dropped out a few days before. Teresa had paid for them, and now she wants her money back,” a source told RadarOnline.com.
The source added, “Meals at Park Chateau Estates and Gardens are not cheap. It’s rude to say ‘yes,’ and then change your mind in the 11th hour. This stuff isn’t refundable. Teresa got stuck with the check, and to make matters worse, Joe and Melissa didn’t even send her a gift.”
Teresa and Louie’s friend and RHONJ co-star Jennifer Aydin also denied the rumor was true.
“I just saw some wackadoo #fakenews, and Teresa and Louie would NEVER be so petty #facts,” Jennifer tweeted on Monday.
Some Bravo fans are claiming that the rumor is nothing more than Melissa and Joe creating a “smear campaign against” Teresa.
RHONJ will return for season 13 in late 2022 or early 2023.
