A source says that Jen did it for the sake of her family. *“There was no specific catalyst for the filing. After their first trial separation in September [2021], Jen and Ryne were still in limbo, and Jen felt like she needed to take this step to improve their family dynamic,”* the insider said. *“The issues they’ve been having are the same issues that played out on the show,”* the insider continued.* “But all is amicable, and they are committed to keeping their kids stable and happy.”* Meanwhile, [Radar Online](https://radaronline.com/p/rhoc-real-housewives-orange-county-jen-armstrong-sells-home-divorce-ryne-holliday/) reports that Jen and Ryne recently sold their 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 3,047 sq. ft. property in Corona del Mar for $5.8 million. According to the listing, the home features *“180-degree unobstructed views of Catalina and San Clemente Island.”* The home was purchased in 2020 for $3 million, allowing Jen and Ryne to walk away with a $2.8 million profit from the sale.
