Season 2 stars Meredith Marks, Jen Shah, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, and Jennie Nguyen all filmed for the Bravo series; however, Mary Cosby was missing in action. *"Mary has not filmed anything this season and they just started this week,"* a production source tells [PEOPLE](https://people.com/tv/rhoslc-mary-cosby-has-not-filmed-for-season-3-after-skipping-season-2-reunion-source/). Fans have speculated that Mary would not be returning for season 3 after she skipped the season 2 reunion. The source says that Mary's absence at the reunion came as a shock to her costars. *"The cast had no idea that Mary wasn't attending the reunion,"* the source says. *"She didn't tell any of the ladies she wasn't coming. They were all shocked she didn't show."* Last week  Mary revealed why she ditched the *s*eason 2 reunion. In an interview with the [BroughChat Instagram account](https://www.instagram.com/p/CY4I6mxFGuC/), Mary said she skipped the reunion because she didn’t want to be *“beat up”* by her castmates. She also didn't want to be grilled over her controversies, including claims that her church is a *"cult."* *“I did not go to the reunion because I was not about to sit there and be beat up from one side of the story and of the narrative,”* Mary said. *“They said that I shine during reunions, so they held it back from me, and they wanted me to go off at the reunion and answer all these one-sided questions that I didn’t even see coming, and I said, ‘I’m not doing it.'”* *“I never got a chance to express my side, to say no one even told me they were talking about me, no one even told me they called my church a cult,”* she continued. *“I found out on TV. I found out with you guys; no one ever told me none [sic] of that. **No one had the guts to say it to my face, all these false allegations. How on earth am I a cult?”* https://www.instagram.com/reel/CY4I6mxFGuC/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Meanwhile, Heather and Jen were spotted filming outside of Mary's church on January 25. The two ladies chatted with Mary's Uncle Ernie. According to an eye-witness, Jen and Heather questioned why the church was closed and why Mary was missing in action. ![](https://allabouttrh.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Screen-Shot-2022-01-25-at-8.40.35-PM.png) ![](https://allabouttrh.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/IMG_1883.jpg) ![](https://allabouttrh.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/IMG_1882.jpg) https://www.instagram.com/tv/CZK7MTbq0Xh/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link https://www.instagram.com/p/CZK8EedOv8C/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link *The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City* airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET. ## Thoughts on this all?
