Joe Giudice is revealing what he thinks about ex-wife Teresa Giudice’s new boyfriend Luis ‘Louie’ Ruelas.
The former Real Housewives of New Jersey staple recently spent time with Teresa, their four daughters Gia, 20, Gabriella, 16, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 11, and Luis in the Bahamas.
“It was fine,” Joe tells In Touch of the vacation reunion. “I mean, he seems like a decent guy. I don’t really know, but I may not seem like a decent guy. She’s happy with him so far.”
Joe admits that meet up with Teresa and Luis was a “little awkward, but it doesn’t matter. I adapt, no big deal.”
“It was a group atmosphere,” he continued. “I guess he just wanted to introduce himself, you know, being that they’re probably going to be moving in. I guess the kids are going to be living there with them as well. So … it was understandable and nice.”
Teresa and Joe announced their split in December 2019 after 20 years of marriage. They finalized their divorce in September 2020. Two months later Teresa debuted her new relationship with Luis.
Joe says he’s very supportive of Teresa’s new relationship and the fact that she and Luis may move in together in the near future.
“Does it hurt at all? I mean, no,” he explains, adding that he ultimately wants his ex-wife to find happiness. “Now what are you gonna do? She can’t live alone. It’s good that she found somebody.”
