According to sources, it was Mama Elsa who served as the inspiration for the ceremony as it would have been right up her ally: *“It was the basis of her mom’s spiritual-religious roots,”* the source told us. *“She felt her mom’s influence guided her to have this kind of ceremony — Elsa is still in charge!”* The two met about a year ago, and apparently, Marysol fell for the Miami-based businessman immediately, and *“They have been stuck like glue since they met."* Patton was previously married to Philippe Pautesta-Herder from 2010 to 2012 and fans saw the two married while on *RHOM*. The two ran off to be married in the mountains, so it's clear that Patton has a thing for eloping in exotic destinations. Although an [RHOM](https://allabouttrh.com/2021/04/21/whose-in-whose-out-for-the-real-housewives-of-miami-reboot/)reboot is set to premiere on Peacock, rumors are that Marysol did not make the cut.
