Moving on Up – Lala Kent Sat Near Meryl Streep at the SAG Awards!

Lala Kent looks surprised and excited on WWHL

Dreams do come true if you’re Lala Kent! The Vanderpump Rules star may be on a reality show but her real dream is to become a serious actress, so when Lala was seated next to the most celebrated actresses of all time, you know she was secretly fan-girling out.

Lala attended the 2020 SAG awards and went for a old Hollywood look with Marilyn curls and a body hugging red dress. Lala showed off her look via her Instagram stories, but that wasn’t what had viewers talking:

The aspiring actress and singer, best known for her outbursts on Vanderpump Rules, was seated by none other than Meryl Streep herself (aka the Queen of Awards shows.) Meryl holds the record for the most Academy Award nominations of any actor, being nominated twenty-one times: Seventeen for Best Actress, and four for Best Supporting Actress. With that being said, it’s no wonder that fans were freaking out (and finding it humorous) that Lala was seated so close to this legend:

While Adam Driver was mentioned, it was Meryl that really had the viewers gagging. Do you think Ms. Streep is a Bravo fan or do you think she was wondering how this young woman scored such good seats? Either way, it was definitely a clash of cinema meeting reality TV and fans were either loving it or appalled at it. Perhaps Andy could make Meryl and Lala WWHL guests on the same night to get the ‘behind the scenes’ scoop?

Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesday’s at 9/8 CST on Bravo.

Thoughts on Lala sitting so close to Meryl at the SAG Awards?
