Rumor Has It Real Housewives of Chicago Is Happening! Buckle up *Real Housewives* fans because we may just have a new [Real Housewives franchise](https://allabouttrh.wpengine.com/2018/05/05/14-cities-that-almost-had-real-housewives-franchises/) on our hands! It seems like Bravo is [adding another city into the ever-expanding Real Housewives world](https://allabouttrh.wpengine.com/2018/01/16/lets-discuss-city-next-get-real-housewives-franchise/)! This rumor started on Sunday morning when a video showing a sign for *Real Housewives of Chicago* showed up on Instagram. In the clip, a person can be overheard saying she's *"trying out for Real Housewives of Chicago."* https://www.instagram.com/p/B121dk8DqfY/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link This isn't the first time the idea of a *Real Housewives of Chicago* has been brought to the table. Back in December, Andy Cohen revealed to Jenny McCarthy on *WWHL* that [Bravo did cast in Chicago](https://allabouttrh.wpengine.com/2018/12/14/andy-cohen-says-there-almost-was-a-chicago-real-housewives-franchise-and-explains-why-it-didnt-happen-to-illinois-native-jenny-mccarthy-plus-she-shares-what-would-be-her-housewife-tagline/). "*We cast there once and we just didn't get it right," Andy explained. * Meanwhile, in 2017, [Don't Be Tardy's Brielle Biermann](https://allabouttrh.wpengine.com/2017/02/03/could-real-housewives-chicago-be-next-this-bravolebrity-says-yes/) begged Andy and Bravo to start a *Real Housewives* franchise in the Windy City. *"I tweeted (The Real Housewives' executive producer Andy Cohen Monday) actually, and I said 'Ohmigosh, let's do a 'Real Housewives of Chicago. I'll be the Kim, and all we have to do is find a Sheree and Nene.' And I met Tim Anderson's wife Bria and I really love her, and like, she's the sweetest person ever, so I'm like, "Let's get her on board,"* Brielle explained to *The Chicago Tribune *in 2017. As for fans they have been tweeting about a #RHOChicago for years in hopes Bravo would answer their prayers. ![](https://allabouttrh.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Screen-Shot-2019-09-01-at-1.21.28-PM.png) ![](https://allabouttrh.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Screen-Shot-2019-09-01-at-1.21.19-PM.png) ![](https://allabouttrh.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Screen-Shot-2019-09-01-at-1.21.11-PM.png) ![](https://allabouttrh.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Screen-Shot-2019-09-01-at-1.21.04-PM.png) ![](https://allabouttrh.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Screen-Shot-2019-09-01-at-1.20.53-PM.png) ![](https://allabouttrh.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Screen-Shot-2019-09-01-at-1.20.45-PM.png) No word from Bravo or Andy on this rumor!
