Southern Charm!
Southern Charm star, Kathryn Dennis, gave birth to her first baby – daughter Kensington Calhoun for the end of the first season of the show. She had the babygirl with her ex-boyfriend who happens to be her co-star, Thomas Ravenel. The pair welcomed their second baby a year later, a son, St. Julien Rembert. Now Kathryn has to film with her ex-boyfriend, Thomas, and his new girlfriend.
According to Page Six, Kathryn said, “I was so young when this all began, I was 21. I’m 26 now and a lot of things have happened. It’s been up and down, up and down, and I’ve learned more about myself. I’m finally at a place where I feel like me again. I feel the happiest I’ve felt in years, and it’s definitely been a journey.”
Castmate Cameran Eubanks also gave birth to a daughter in November, and Kathryn and Cameran are on better terms now. Kathryn explained they have a “mutual understanding and respect for another.” Kathryn had advice for Cameran, too. “I just told her to enjoy the time,” spent with her daughter, Kathryn said. She added, “It’s really, really, super hard, but once you get past the six-month mark, you look back and kind of forget about all the negatives, so I encouraged her to look at the big picture.”
This season we are going to see Kathryn go through a lot of changes in life. Kathryn explained, “You can see me kind of continue to deal with the challenging people in my life, and just me not responding to the craziness.”
I’m definitely excited for the new season of Southern Charm! Are you? I’m glad Kathryn is making an effort to avoid craziness this season. It’s good that she’s focusing on being a good mommy.
