During the season eight finale of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, was rocked by a huge scandal. Throughout the episode, the news broke that Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey’s homes were raided by the FBI in connection with items belonging to former co-star Apollo Nida. The news of the feds visit had all the wives in a tizzy except for Apollo’s soon to be ex-wife Phaedra Parks. Leaving many to wonder if Phaedra was a rotten peach who sold her friends and co-stars out to the feds.
During a recent visit to Watch What Happens Live! Kandi Burruss spoke with host Andy Cohen about the whole ordeal.“I wasn’t scared, to be honest with you. It’s not like they had a search warrant or anything. I was just like, ‘OK, yeah his bike is there,'” Kandi revealed.
Kandi also made it clear that she didn’t get in trouble with the feds they just seized Apollo’s possessions.“They came to inquire if he had anything at our house, and we just said yes. It was just a bike and a four-wheeler. It wasn’t like we had all this stuff.”
As for who actually called the feds, that remains a mystery, but Kandi does find the timing questionable especially considering her and Phaedra’s relationship at the time.“That episode where [Phaedra] and I were trying to resolve our issues, and she was like ‘Well, the feds have been coming to me about his stuff,’ that aired that week [the feds visited]. But then she also was upset with Todd about something that he tweeted or something. It was so weird because then a couple of days later this happened, so I didn’t know if it was because of the TV show or if it was because she was upset. I didn’t know. The timing of it was so weird.”
Do you think Phaedra called the feds? Should Phaedra have admitted that she called the feds or gave her co-stars a heads up?
