The B is back and she isn’t holding back either. After coming under some harsh criticism for her treatment of RHOBH newbie Erika Girardi, Bethenny Frankel is now dishing about the showdown with Erika while defending her honesty.
After calling Erika Jayne’s music video “cheap” and “cheesy” Bethenny tells PEOPLE, the cast of RHOBH should have saw her brutal honesty coming.
“You can’t have it both ways. What am I gonna do, agree to work with Kyle and then sit there and not say what’s on my mind? I know Bravo well enough that they didn’t bring me on there because they think I’m cute.”
“They wanted me to stir it up a little. They know I’m gonna say what’s on my mind, and I’m a little less calculated than the women on that show. You know, I helped [Erika] out with a little bit of press for what she’s doing.”
Bethenny says the RHOBH cast is “more edited and controlled” insisting that ALL the ladies “felt really similar to the way I felt but they were excited for me to be the one to say it.”
As for fans who didn’t like her treatment of Erika, Bethenny says “Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”
Thoughts on Bethenny’s interview? Do you think the RHOBH cast held back on their true opinions of Erika’s video?
