Kim Richards was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel back in April after relapsing. Kim was arrested and charged with trespassing, public intoxication, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer. Kim was possibly facing jail time, but after accepting a plea deal, she will not have to do any time in jail.
TMZ reports that since Kim was not in court this morning, Kim’s attorney accepted a plea deal on her behalf. The original plea deal included “3 years probation, 52 AA classes, and 30 days community labor,” but Kim’s attorney demanded Kim got community service rather than community labor.
Community labor would mean Kim would have to do a task like freeway cleanup. Kim’s attorney said she cannot perform a task like this due to having a foot injury.
Prosecutors told Kim’s attorney that she will need to provide medical documents to get out of performing community labor by Sept. 14. As long as both sides agree on this deal by that date, Kim will avoid doing any jail time. In addition to this deal, Kim was also banned from the Beverly Hills Hotel.
