On last night’s RHOA reunion, Phaedra Parks dropped a pretty big bomb when she insinuated that her estranged husband Apollo Nida had gotten physical with her during their marriage.
“My husband definitely has a temper, and he can get out of hand,” Phaedra told Andy Cohen and her Housewives co-stars.
Reunion host Andy Cohen took the opening and asked Phaedra,“Did he ever get physical with you?”
Phaedra stayed silent for a while and then said“I just don’t know if I need to discuss that with you, to be honest.”
In addition Phaedra also confirmed she hasn’t filed for divorce and she hasn’t taken her children to visit Apollo in prison.“I want people to be proud of me as a mother and a wife. I need time to make the appropriate decisions for my life and children.”
Not that I hope its true because I don’t. I really hope that there is truth behind Apollo getting physical with Phaedra during their marriage. If there is no truth behind it then Phaedra’s long silence and reluctance to talk about it is just setting up Apollo to look like an even worse man than he is. Illegal activity and prison are one thing but physical abuse is a whole different ballgame.
