We’ve seen a lot of drama go down on Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi’s wedding special and many wonder how Kandi is feeling about everything. Speaking to Bravo, Kandi opens up about being in the middle of her husband and mother and how she handles it. Kandi also discusses why she was upset about Todd’s “warning” on one of the episodes.
Bravo: Why did Todd’s “warning” about Momma Joyce rub you the wrong way?
Kandi: I just didn’t like what he said. I don’t take it well when people say I’m warning you as if it’s a threat… I don’t like threats.How frustrating was it being caught in the middle of Todd and your mom? What was going through your mind?
It was extremely frustrating being caught between the two of them. I was hoping Todd would stay cool. My mom can be abrasive and she takes things to the extreme sometimes. When she gets like that talking becomes pointless. That’s when I get quiet and turn on my ignore switch, but I know everyone can’t ignore her. I’m glad Todd kept calm though.
Todd’s a good man. Kandi needs to realize that most guys wouldn’t deal with how Mama Joyce is. Just because she is used to it and is okay with it, doesn’t mean everyone else will be. Thoughts on what Kandi had to say?
