Kim Richards has definitely been on a long and difficult journey to sobriety since the show first aired in season 1, and through that time, fans have cheered Kim on as she has managed to maintain that sobriety. A few nights ago, Kim appeared on Watch What Happens Live, and she shared with Andy Cohen, whether or not she thinks she would have been able to stay sober if she wasn’t on the show. Check out what she had to say
“I feel like, you know, thanks to all the fans out there, that look up to me, that are following my sobriety, that um, I feel I have a lot of people that are holding me accountable, and um, it’s helping me a lot, um you know, I love doing this show, and I love all the people. And I love when I walk down the street and people come up to me and say ‘Because of you today, I am sober, thank you so much.’ And when I pop onto Twitter and people say that they’re sober today because of me. And when they have a question like ‘Today I’m having a difficult time,’ and I respond to them. I think that it’s helped me a lot keeping my sobriety today, so thank you so much to all my fans out there.”
I’m not going to lie, I got teary eyed hearing Kim say this. She has come a long way, and she should be extremely proud of herself. What did you guys think of what Kim had to say? Do you think she would still be sober if she wasn’t on the show?
