Caroline Manzo has been taking a more proactive approach in the Real Housewives of New Jersey drama this season, trying to fix things between the families involved rather than copping an attitude!
Caroline is speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about the recent episodes we’ve seen with the Gorga vs. Giudice feud reaching physical violence, and she even reveals that her stance has changed because she felt that she was adding to the problem rather than trying to help!
Speaking on her attempt to get through to Joe Gorga and Teresa individually, Caroline reveals that Melissa’s comments toward her were surprising and hurtful. She tells the site, “I met with Joe and didn’t involve her out of respect to her feelings of not wanting to be part of it. When she said that, I was kind of taken aback. I’m not going to lie. It definitely hurt my feelings, but it’s one of those things; point taken.”
Her new way of handling this drama came after Caroline reflected and realized that she was adding to the feud rather than trying to help the situation. “I think obviously my attitude showed, but after a while, when you sit down and start to think and pull yourself out of it and look at it for what it is, you see things differently and realize you’re a part of the problem and not part of the solution,” admits Caroline.
Caroline teases that the entire season will be about healing the feud and says that Lake George is nothing compared to all the crying and emotions that get spilled when the cast heads to Arizona! Read about that over at THR!
Personally, I would love for Caroline to confront Melissa about the hurtful comments at the reunion! It would be a nice change for once. Do you think Caroline is being honest in that she was adding to the drama last season instead of helping?
